What better camping craft than friendship bracelets? My niece supplied the materials and the instructions for this “can’t believe it’s cool again” craft. I went with a complicated bracelet pattern which includes lettering. Hopefully I finish it before next year’s camping trip.

IS it cool again? Shall I remind the people that your neice is YOUR age….and not some up-and-coming tween?

I have always been a fan, but I maintain they are still not cool yet….maybe when you finish the bracelet by next year, they will be again.
My niece isn’t quite my age, but I trust she is more on the cutting edge of cool than I.
And, my H.S. teaching sister said that she had to constantly tell her students to put away their embroidery floss at the end of this school year.
They’re back, baby.
Friendships bracelets aren’t cool, they’re FIERCE. C’mon, you many times do people have to correct you..
I actually didn’t believe they were “in” either, but my mom who teaches HS has verified it, and last time I saw my husband’s nieces who are in jr high and high school they were all wearing and making bracelets.
