Some days I feel guilty driving in the carpool lane with my kids because I’m not really taking any cars off the freeway.
But then there are days when I think driving in the carpool lane with my kids is one of the few perks of motherhood.

I’m pretty sure the carpool lane was invented to decrease the amount of mothers eating their young. It has nothing to do with reducing the amount of cars on the highway whatsoever.
Ha! So you’ve had those driving days too.
I feel the same way! I am always worried a cop will pull me over because he can’t see Noah’s car seat in the back. funny post!
I never feel guilty. I think you’re only helping the rest of the freeway by taking yourself out of the high-traffic lanes. More room for the commuters to duke it out.
Are you saying I’m wrong for keeping that car seat with a cabbage patch doll in my back seat and driving the carpool lanes?
ditto….your orig. post.
