Months and months ago, the dogs got into a bag full of unused garden seeds. I can’t even remember what varieties of plants were in the bag because what was left were just soggy shreds of seed envelopes with their random seeds scattered throughout the yard. A month or so later, we had a few silly heads of lettuce pop up on our lawn. Other than that, we didn’t think anything else took root. Until last week. That’s when I noticed not one, but two renegade tomato plants under the orange tree. They look much healthier than my “real” tomato plants. I guess I might be better at accidental gardening.
