It’s one of the most common bike crashes, but after two years of riding I had yet to experience it… until today.
I wish there was a “tougher” story, but the truth is that it happened on a nice, flat, smooth trail while trying to snap a picture of a beautiful family of deer DH and I had come across. And since I now ride with my new fancy shoes that attach me to the bike, I was quite a tangled mess when I finally landed in the dirt.
And I don’t even have a picture of the deer to show for it.

I am sorry but I am LOL and it is all DH fault!!!!
ooooh. that sounds like it hurt. those darn shoes…
OH girl, that sound painful…but kind of rock star cool! You’re MY rock star 🙂
You did an ENDO!! Wooo! Congratulations, that’s a big rite of passage. Hope you’re feeling ok.
What happened to the camera?
I’d say it was a noteable wreck. Forget the terrain – you were multitasking.
Oh man I am not looking forward to my first wreck.
Yikes, I’m glad you didn’t break anything!
I heard about it! At least it was on a flat road and not down a steep hill. I am missing our rides.
Ah yes ENDO! THat’s what they call it!
And mommymita, I have the most awesome waterproof, crushproof and shockproof camera. It was totally unscathed.
Youch! My BIL had this happen to him too. Pretty daring if you were taking pics while biking but I would’ve done the same thing.
