I think these pants were one of my first refashions ever. My H.S. BFF’s mother bought the army pants at a garage sale for 50 cents and gave them to me almost 15 years ago. After a couple years of wearing them “as is” I cut them off and added some floral embroidery and blanket stitching. Almost all of that stitching has worn away now and it’s time to say goodbye. They’ve been good pants (who knew 50 cent pants could bring years of happiness). Hopefully another refashioner somewhere will pick them up and try to give them a new life.
