The night before we left UT, the temperature (according to our car) was 7 degrees. Today, as we pulled into our driveway, the car said it was 63 degrees.The girls immediately hopped out of the car sans jackets and shoes to play with the neighbor kids outside. Aaah, much better.

That’s me in one of my many attempts to surf on the Flowrider. But after a sore foot, a bruised butt, and a tweaked back, I gave it up and attempted to perform tricks on a bodyboard instead. Thank goodness we have a few good chiropractors in the family.

My neighbor was thoughtful enough to pass on her daughter’s gently used bedspread– a perfect double sided fabric for these Christmas gifts for some cute little girls in our lives.
