I know I rarely leave comments, but I had to tell you Carrie that you are a genius. It blows my mind, your talent, and I’m always impressed with everything you post. Kind of makes me wish I had the sewing talent, rather than a music one!
[Congrats on the 5K, btw. Anything under 30 minutes (imho) is incredible!]
Very, very cute! I’m going to have to try this re-fashioning. I usually just make stuff from scratch, but I have a lot of stuff hanging around that either doesn’t fit anymore or I don’t like for some reason- and I could totally do that!
You really are a genius, Carrie. I look forward, every day, to seeing what you are up to…!
I love this. I saw a skirt in the thrift store the other day and thought about trying to do that to it… you just inspired me to try it. I LOVE that waistband… it totally makes it to me. You are a talented girl.
That turned out so darling.
How CUTE! If you had not told us the cute skirt was made from the stuffy one, I’d have never known it was the same fabric! How absolutely adorable! ~Shelly~
Lookit that smile, the one that would allow her to have a shiv stuck up under your rib and you would say, “Why thank, you, Pumpkin.”
The skirt is superfab.
I have a skirt just like the one you made for pumpkin. When I bought it I remember thinking man, If I could sew I would totally make this.

PS-Your little Pumpkin is adorable and you make the best stuff.
oops I guess the link didn’t work. It was an overpriced urban-renewal skirt. The hand made one you made is much cuter.
