Whale Watching Adventures

by This is Carrie on February 18, 2009

Despite the previous rainy weather that had us worried until the very last minute, the afternoon ended up clear and beautiful.
We followed two grey whales for more than an hour (see the tail on the left?). We also spied a group of dolphins and a pile of sea lions chillin’ on a buoy.
Pumpkin thought the boat smelled like penguins and then crashed on the way back to harbor.

That sounds like so much fun! I’m going to see the gray whales in a couple of months and I’m already excited!

How adorable!!! Sounds like the perfect day!

Oh, I’m not sure if I already told you, but I have a giveaway going for crafty mamas!

Oh I AM envious of you! I’d love to be able to take a trip like that! Maybe one day when I’m rich and famous I’ll be able to do things like that!

Looks like fun, we were going to go whale watching last weekend, but we had monsoon style rain, too bad.
