Beautiful!
Wow! That is amazing! Looks so beautiful!!
Hi! I have been following your blog for a while. . . I adore your creations and your athletisism inspires me! This is so stunning! I might have to attempt something similar for my baby’s blessing. . .
Really beautiful work, as usual 🙂
Oh my gosh that turned out so cute! Great job.
Carrie-
The Christening gown is beautiful! What a great way to use the gown to create new memories for the family.
Thanks for the kind comment about Emily…she is doing much better.
Oh Carrie! It’s so pretty- and you’ve given me the best inspiration! My own wedding dress is just collecting dust in it’s box, and I think I will make it into a Temple dress for Abby when we get sealed. Yay! Thank you!
This is gorgeous! I had my wedding dress made into dresses for my two girls and a vest for my son for when we adopted them. It is a treasure and they all felt so special!!
It was the best thing I did with that dress that had just been moving from closet to closet!!
What a great idea! I already commented on Flickr, but I just think this is so precious. It’s a good idea and it turned out very nice. (I have lots of good ideas, but they usually don’t turn out so nice!)
Love all the wedding dress refashion thoughts out there. Can’t wait to see them come to fruition!
absolute perfection…
Absolutely beautiful….wonderful idea!!
I looked at your wedding picture to decide if that was the under dress for your gown. I couldn’t tell. Is it? Anyway the blessing dress is absolutely beautiful!
Mom – Sorry for the confusion — It’s a friends wedding dress and the blessing dress is for her daughter. That’s what I get for my habit on not writing explanations.
Now that is great idea. Beautiful!
Sorry, I know I just posted. Did you use a pattern or is this your own creation? Thanks
that is the EXACT reason we preserved my wedding gown! =) makes me smile!
mamade – I made it from a pattern I made (based off a vintage baby dress I picked up years ago at a flea market)
To die!!!
This is beautiful! I would love to make (or ask baby’s great grandma to make) something similar. Do you have some tips, instructions or a tutorial to help us? I am due in July, and I can’t help but think the lace would be great for a summer blessing gown.
