During the three week Spring Break (a while ago) we did a few artists studies based on my favorite series of introductory art history books for kids. Up first, the troubled Van Gogh. After reading the book, we decided to concentrate our acrylic painting on movement, visible brush strokes, and we threw in a little unrelated collage for good measure.
