It’s been a tough week for Baby Brother breaking those new molars in. His blankie and a bowl of Cheerios helps, but it’s only when I help him put on his bike helmet that he’s really content.
Best moment was when the checker at the grocery store told me I was “really smart because you have no idea how many kids fall out of shopping carts”. Yep, that’s totally me – the overprotective parent.

That is hilarious! Sounds like he's a safety kid!
We just like to think he's really taken to this biking family he's been born into.
This reminds me of when I taught preschool. I had a kiddo who insisted on wearing his new life jacket to class for a week. People thought his mom made him wear it because our preschool was across the street from the bay. Cute, the things that kids find comfort in.
LOL! He is so cute like that! And woot woot for biking! We are waiting till our baby can sit up straight, but very hardly waiting.
I actually have a friend whose little girl fell out of a shopping cart the other day at TJs and they spent the whole afternoon in the ER.
Very cute that he likes to wear that helmet. 🙂
Tanner too! He likes to wear it in the car…totally makes him happy. I took him to Trader Joes last month in fins and goggles. Whatever works.
HA! THat's right – I always think of you as being really over protective 🙂
He is so genetically yours.
love the helmet… and the story. i giggled. a lot.
Ah, how precious. At that age, both my bicycle-loving boys have absolutely loved to wear their helmets aound the house.
