Making Stuff: Women’s Dress Refashion

$1.49 thrift store find.

Before: Dowdy         After: Demure

Basic Steps:

1. Run two gathering stitches along each side seam starting at the hem and going up about 12″.

2. Pull threads to gather fabric to desired length.

3. Stay stitch along gathered side seam.

4. Unpick gathering stitches
