…the teacher asked him.
He nodded an emphatic “Yes” even though I was quite sure, at 16months old, he didn’t know what he was agreeing to.

Yet, out he walked to the end of the diving board, by himself, wearing his sister’s purple goggles where he was then thrown into the arms of his teacher.
Scared, but also thrilled, he scrambled out of the pool, running straight to the diving board steps to do it all over again.

oh, so cute! i love it.
I so love kids that age. They're scared of things, but if grownups say its okay, they mostly go along with it.
But still, really brave to just jump off.
Mine is just a bit to old for that and sadly getting scared of things he doesn't need to. But we'll get him to all the fun things he's missing out on now, in a few years time.
I love it! No fear! That's a great age too.
16 months old and on a diving board??? Oh my…
Mine is 2.5 and she still shrieks about getting her hair washed!
I have seen this little boy – he is Todds son, so nothing about him surprises me 🙂 Watch out mama…
OH my gosh! So little to be jumping off the diving board! My 4 year old just finished lessons and it totally clicked – the boy's a fish! The diving board is next for him, I'm sure.

He's already jumping off the diving board? My 15-month-old just started walking!
That's pretty amazing… my youngest wasn't even walking yet at 16 months let alone jumping off of diving boards!
