Egg Nog and 7-Up

I look forward to this mixed drink for the non-drinker all year.
Wish the character on tv last night didn’t say “I just ran 5 miles this morning and now I’m drinking egg nog. It’s like a glass full of mayonnaise.”
Ugh.
So I tried the Light Egg Nog. Not worth it. I’ll live with my full-fat egg nog guilt.

This is Carrie December 9, 2009 at 3:53 pm: I grew up with using 7-up in egg nog, but in the past couple years I have sometimes used Ginger Ale. Hansen's Ginger Ale is particularly spicy which adds a nice flavor to the egg nog.

Never tried Club Soda. Try it and report.

But…I have recently discovered (like as of Sunday) a FANTASTIC new egg nog treat. A 1:1 ratio of egg nog to root beer. OH. MY. GOSH.

You will DIE. Try it. I insist. Some teenage girls I know raved about it and now I am hooked. Unfortunately 🙂

mommyknows December 15, 2009 at 12:00 am: What is the ratio of 7-up to egg-nog? I don't drink alchohol, it's nice to have something besides club soda 🙂
