Shoes for Haiti

by This is Carrie on January 26, 2010

A few of the local schools held shoe drives over the weekend to help Soles for Souls reach their goal of providing over 1 MILLION pairs of shoes to aid in the recovery and rebuilding process in Haiti.

We were able to gather together a bin full of gently used shoes from our neighbors, our own closets, and the “saving for if we have another baby someday” boxes in the garage.

What an awesome idea!

My pilates studio did the exact same thing. We cleaned out a ton of shoes from our closets and baby stuff. Great idea, and encourages everyone to keep giving.
