There won’t be any balloons, streamers or beautifully wrapped presents, but I’m pretty sure that’s the way Mother Earth would want it.
We’ll spend some more time in the garden instead, tending to our newly planted tomato seedlings and planting a few packets full of flowers by our porch, including Calendula, one of the edible flowers I read about here.
We also have plans to replant our garden tipi with another edible vine flower, Nasturtium, hoping we have better luck with it than we did with our vine vegetables last year.

FYI, earth day isn’t until april 22…
I’m sure that Carrie knows that Earth Day is the 22nd…but as most people know we celebrate the whole WEEK!
Oooh, I’m so excited about your garden tipi! I tried to make a sunflower house when I was a kid, but the snails kept eating my little shoots. Maybe I should try again.
