Other Openin’, Another Show

This last theater production was a compilation celebrating the 25th anniversary of the children’s theater company. The girls performed in “Another Openin'” from Kiss Me Kate, “Step in Time” from Mary Poppins and “The Lonely Goatheard” from The Sound of Music.

When the parts were getting passed out, Princess was beyond thrilled (of course) to be “The Girl in the Pale Pink Coat”, Pumpkin, on the other hand, came out of the rehersal studio in tears.  “I’m The Goat” she proclaimed in her best, dejected tone.

But once she tried on the costume and was met with all sorts of adoration (it also helps when you’re the youngest/smallest kid in the entire production) she finally decided it was great to be “The Goat.”
