I strapped on the baby and we spent the morning participating in another beach clean up with Kim from SaveOurBeach.org. I love being around people that are so passionate about their cause. She always takes time to talk to the kids about taking care of Mother Earth. After an hour of picking up bags full of trash, the kids always come away with a stronger conviction to put trash in it’s place. And we all are reminded that styrofoam is pure evil.
With the morning spent at the clean up, we had the afternoon to hit Rubys Diner on the pier and then enjoy the beautiful beach weather (and the fruits of our beach clean up labors). The water was chilly, but that didn’t stop the kids from frolicing in the waves for hours.

I love that you guys do this! Makes me miss the Oregon Beach cleanup days when I was a kid!
