Family Camp Out 2011: The Cousins

by This is Carrie on July 19, 2011

One of the very best parts of our family camp out is just hanging with cousins.  When your family grows as large and as spread out as mine, this time to build family bonds is precious.

This year, the kids met their new, 15 year old cousin who was recently adopted from Ethiopia. Experiencing camp through his eyes made everything a little more amazing.  He thinks we eat a lot of cheese.

P.S. Grandma made all the kids “I can be an Angel” t-shirts to go along with her lesson on giving service to those around us.

This is so sweet. The whole thing. I wish our family was closer…in all ways so we could do things like this too. Or, maybe I could just have eight more kids and start our own little camp. HAH.
