Camping at San Onofre Bluffs

It’s hard to believe just a short walk from the cramped camp sites alongside the train tracks and a stone’s throw from the busy I-5, this is the beauty you can find.

And honestly, who cares about the sounds of the freeway at your campsite when you have jumbo sized s’mores, bacon wrapped hot dogs and cream topped hot chocolate to eat while sitting around the campfire with your friends.

That picture is AMAZING! We were long time south OC residents and I miss it! There is a great 30 mile trail run/race at another beautiful state park in Montana de Oro by Morro Bay that you might be interested. My neighbor has done it and I was totally reminded of it by this picture.
