Those are beautiful butterfly wings!
I love these and have had them bookmarked forever… we are finally making them for Halloween this year. My 4-y-o is SO excited and has been telling everyone about dying scarves for her butterfly wings!

Love this little post about your butterfly wings tutorial. You can take it a step further..make them up and use them as a great activity for a birthday party! Grab some permanent markers in lots of fun colors and some 91% rubbing alcohol..cover your tables with painting tarps or trash bags. Have the children draw lots of shapes and pictures on the wings..spots, stripes, flowers, etc..
Then, take an eye dropper and drop the rubbing alcohol on the designs they made and watch the magic! Works on silk and cotton! email me and let me know how they turn out will you?
