When I found this 3 yard piece of super-soft jersey knit for $3 at a new-to-me hole in the wall fabric store in Westminster, CA, it cried out to be a bias-cut maxi skirt. I didn’t take the time to make a pattern so it could’ve turned out very badly. But the sewing gods were on my side that night and my willy-nilly folding and cutting of fabric turned into a quite lovely, terribly comfortable, quick, maxi skirt (even though the stripes do not come anywhere close to matching at the side seams).

I actually love the way the stripes fell into place on this skirt.. Great job!
Really really cute!!
It’s terrific. Great work. I love when project just come together.
Think I’ll give this a try as my growing belly is craving comfort but my available sewing time right now will only allow for “willy nilly” folding, cutting and sewing – cute!
How cute! I have some jersey fabric that would be perfect…but I am so scared of sewing it! I guess I should just give it a go 🙂
Ahhk! So cute!!
