When I purchased this dress at the thrift store a few months ago it was just perfect…except across the chest. My nursing boobs made those nice pleats all wonky. I bought it anyway, knowing my breastfeeding days were numbered.
Last week, just as I was lamenting the (small) state of my post-nursing breasts, I remembered the dress. The Dress! It was a nice consolation prize after losing my full-A-almost-a-B cup.
Speaking of small cup sizes, I have to tell you about Itty Bitty Bras. After I stopped nursing and fitting into every bra I owned, I was determined to find a bra that actually fit (and one I didn’t have to buy in the girls section of the department store). After some extensive internet searching, I found Itty Bitty Bra, a company that specializes in AA, A and B cups. They took pity on me and sent me their Signature bra and their Padded bra. I am in love with both of them. It’s amazing to finally wear a bra that doesn’t gape, pucker or slip. They are far more expensive than any bra I’ve ever owned, but honestly, I’d rather have 3 bras that fit than 6 that don’t (which is how I usually roll).
Outfit Details
Dress: Rewear Warehouse
Belt: Savers Thrift Store
Shoes: Nine West (from like 10 years ago)
Bra: Itty Bitty Bra
Disclosure: Itty Bitty Bra Company provided me with two bras. The opinions expressed here are my own and can not be purchased. If I did not love the bras, I wouldn’t have posted about them. Instead, I have thrown out every one of my ridiculously ill-fitting old bras because these ones are totally awesome.

Oh, thank you! I have nursed 3 babies in the last 6 years and can’t find a bra small enough to fit what’s left. TMI. Anyway, yesterday I was just thinking it was time to get serious and do some internet searching for a small bra company. I’m definitely going to try these.
Give me that dress!!! I LOVE IT!

Kinda excited to check out those bras. Very similar situation here and even my expensive Victoria’s Secret bra doesn’t fit right. I am definitely of the mind that it’s better to have something that fits, even if it’s expensive.
i need to check out those bras! I would totally be willing to pay more for a good bra that actually fits me!
Thank you for posting bout itty bitty bras…now i know where to go ’cause vics sec wasn’t working….
OMG! I feel the same way about my boobies. LOL makes me want to cry a little. I had a B, all the way to a D, and now smaller than ever at a size A. Why is it we lose our boobies. I wish there was something to make it better. I have nursed 4 children and was hoping that they would stay. : (
