Making Stuff: 50’s Poodle Skirts

Our elementary school carnival held a 50’s themed carnival, so poodle skirts were in order.

Using the “Whirly, Twirly Skirt” Tutorial the felt skirts came together quickly. The poodles? Those took a little longer.

Kara November 14, 2011 at 11:47 am: These are so neat!! I love how authentic they came out. Don’t know if I could possibly make the poodle look that good though! I ended up dressing my daughter as a 50’s girl for Halloween but I went with a skirt from AnnaBean because I’m not quite so crafty.
