When you’re going to be spending 2 days with 8 people in one van (six of them being hot, sweaty messes), you need to make sure it’s awesome on the outside because it’s going to get pretty gross on the inside. And when you’re an ultra team of girls running in sparkly skirts, your van needs to draw just as much attention as your name, Team Sparkle, implies. Kelly’s ingenious idea and perfect execution gave us a van you could see coming from a mile away.
When people asked us how long it took to paint the van, we told the truth: “Not very long when you believe in child labor”.

What a great adventure! I would love to see a post on what to pack for the adventure, as I have a relay coming up soon and have no idea what to bring! It’s the Grand Teton Relay that covers both Idaho and Wyoming, I am super excited – and inspired by you that I can do it after having three kids! Thanks!
