That’s really cute! I’m glad you didn’t have to crochet it. It looks like a lot of work went into it! In fact, it looks vintage. You were lucky to find it at such a good price!
What a great idea. I have several crocheted doilies that my husbands grandmother made, i did not know what to do with them, but I still wanted to keep them. Right now they are being stored under the guest-bed, not a very good place. I think wearing them would be a great idea, if Grandma Ruth was still alive, she would be happy to know they were being used. Thanks for the inspiration.
