At the same time I was searching for a “new” desk, our neighbors were trying to get rid of an old desk. After a few cans of spray paint, a couple sheets of sandpaper, and a call to my expert friend, I have a perfect desk for the corner of our bedroom.

BEFORE:Picked up this blouse from a vintage clothing store. Didn’t really mind the long sleeves, but we had a streak of super hot weather (100 degrees +) so the sleeves had to go and while I was at it, I took it in on the sides a bit too. AFTER:
