I received this book ages ago from a good friend who knew I would love reading it to my children. She was right. If you are a “Wardrobe Refashioner” it is a “must have” on your bookshelf. If you’re not, you’re still going to want it.

I was inspired by an applique tie shirt I saw here, but I ditched the “white shirt” (like father, like son) in favor of some darker fall colors and went with some fun tweedy ties from the thrift store.

When I found the old floral curtain at the estate sale a few weeks back, this (end of the) summer dress came together perfectly with my road trip crocheting project. Thankfully, summer in California lasts a little longer than in the rest of the country.
