Making Stuff: It’s a Blanket with Sleeves

Ever since the explosion of the Snuggie at Christmas, my girls have been coveting their own blanket with sleeves. Having felt the quality of the fabric of the manufactured blankets and finding this tutorial for an adult “Snuglet”, I told them I’d make them their own and it’d be better and softer and cuter.

While shopping for fabric we happened upon this music inspired fleece and just knew it would perfect for Princess’s BFF, a budding violinist and Snuggie lover whose birthday was just around the corner.

Word on the street is she loves it.
