Making Stuff: Tie Dyed Tote Bag with Peace Sign Applique {homemade gift}

by This is Carrie on May 22, 2012

Because I love making birthday gifts and I hate wrapping them, this custom tote bag was a satisfying as well as practical gift.  After discussing ideas with my girls, I realized tie dye, peace signs and the color blue are all the rage in the 6-10 age category of girls.

Filled with a vintage inspired hopscotch games and a copy of “Boo – The Life of the World’s Cutest Dog”, I knew this birthday present would be a hit when my girls begged for a bag of their own.
