Making Stuff: 10 Minute Dancing Skirt {homemade gift}

by This is Carrie on June 1, 2012

My sister (a former contemporary dancer and instructor) taught me how to make this quick, DIY dancing skirt years ago.  It has always been the “go-to” for last minute costumes in her house. It’s so easy (minimal sewing), Princess decided to make one for Pumpkin this last Christmas.  I just happened to have the perfect piece of tie dyed stretch velvet in my fabric stash (I have no idea where it came from).

I was trying to access your tutorial on Kids Art Christmas Ornaments (an oldie)
and was unable to get the whrrl link to work. Is there some way you could make it possible for me to see the tutorial? Thank you so much! I enjoy your crafting projects.
