I was so happy with the first pair of knit harem pants I made for Princess, I immediately went to work making her another pair. Guess I should’ve waited to see if she was happy with the first pair because I can’t talk her into liking either one. I guess having all that extra fabric between your legs takes some getting used to. I tried to explain that it’d probably be more comfortable with a lower crotch, but she didn’t go for that either. Sorry MC Hammer. The next generation just doesn’t “get you” like we did.

Ha! It’s a daring fashion statement for sure, but I have a weakness for anything smocked or pseudo-smocked (and as everyone knows, a ventilated crotch is a happy crotch 🙂 I’m so happy to see that you’re still sewing up a storm after all these years! What a great blog!
(And while I’m here, I should note that I still bear a Carrie mannerism from all those years ago: “d’oh!”)
Love these! I wish I had a pair myself!
